Changed the tag a wee bit…I (too, like other bloggers) don’t want to use the word hate..So I’m listing qualities found in many (Not All) men that really annoy me. Also listing only 8, coz I couldn’t think of 10!
1. The kind who dates/ flirts with a certain type of girl but wants to take home a different kind
If men were honest to themselves (forget others) they’ll realize a whole bunch of them are like this. Many many men have this problem.
2.The one who thinks boys don’t cry or people who cry are weak
I don’t entirely blame the men for this. Their parents, teachers, peers and society has made them believe this. As a kid, my cousin bro was afraid of the dark and was really bad @ losing games. He would start crying and throw up a tantrum. His dad and the rest of us cousins were so mean…we would tease him so much and tell him “stop being a girl” and address him by the female version of his name. Our Bad. I’m definitely not proud of this!
3.The men who think cooking , washing and/or cleaning is a woman’s job
I know many men are changing this view but plenty more need to.
4.Guys whose definition of a hot/beautiful girl is thin, tall n fair.
Seriously, No comments!
5.A guy who thinks once he’s married it’s his RIGHT to have sex with his wife and that she has no say about it.
I honestly donno any such men, but I’m sure they do exist.
6.The one who has a different set of rules for himself and a different set of rules for women (Eg: Men can have late nights but women can’t!)
Can be found in plenty!
7.Men who think the after marriage the girl belongs to his family but he doesn’t necessarily belong to her family!
They pretend otherwise to the world, ask the wives to know the true story!
8. Those who can fall in love but can't commit and run miles on the mention of the word Marriage.
I don't get what the problem is frankly. Why is it so hard to socially and publicly(which is mostly what marriage is) commit to the person u anywez want to spend the rest of ur life with?U can study, build ur career and fulfill all ur dreams together rite?
I feel we should hear the male perspective and so am tagging all MALE readers of my blog to list a few (how many ever u can think of) traits in men that they think are not so good (PS: Not Hate!) and need to change.

I have a couple friends who categorize girls as "To go" or "Have it here" based on your first point.
Also fairness is not that much of a criteria for hotness as indecent exposure is. Take Bipasha Basu as the example.
I know what commitment phobes are afraid of. Falling into the trap of being with ONE person. The "what if" question looms in their head. What if I get bored? Oh no! i cannot run then. I am stuck. She wont let me go out with my friends. She will nag me. She will boss me. OMG! I am going to lose my freedom!

Sadly Pavi, this post reminds me mostly abt INDIAN men. Im not saying all Indian men r like that but MOST of em r.

there is never going to be an answer...
interesting observations....
many of these problems arise because of lack of awareness and education....its a sad state of affairs....like many women entice men to do weird things....

But they won't let their sisters or friends leave alone girl-friends wear exposting stuff. Hai na?
If they cant decided about being with 1 girl for the rest of their life why get involved in the 1st place! :-X

OMG Pavi!! Keshi stole my words!!! I feel exactly the same. Unfortunately, most of the things you mentioned in your list are typical characteristics of a lot of Indian men :(
Except the commitment phobia..I think a lot of men in general think this way.

I know a lotta guys who have commitment problems. They love someone, but are afraod to commit to a lifetime of togetherness !!
Why ?
Coz they think, what if someone better comes along ??
haha..well dont we all know men who fall in some or most of these categories!!:-)
And especially irritating is the "women have to do the housework crap"...disgusting!
i hv many friends who come under the first category.. my own cousin bro is like that!!!

its about being gender sensitive.. everyone is to blame.. family, society, mass media..
p.s. i 'HATE' not dislike HATE men without manners.. i've cm across many lawyers n policemen who dnt hv a clue hw to behave in the presence of a lady!!

Hmmm ... Men are from mars and women are from venus. :) boys will be boys ! .. Nice post.. yea all of it is true. Well thats the society, nature and environment that do contribute to the truth.
Would love to take up this tag pav and also ur prev SWOT analysis one.. but im actlly planning to change my blog perspective. Ive been thinking that ill use my space and my writing to talk about the truth, facts on a larger global basis like politics, terrorism, communalism. We bloggers can create a lot of impact.. so let it be for a social cause :)..
It may take a lil time.. as my work schedule is real hectic now..
