Ur View..

If some faceless and nameless character told u nasty things about another faceless but named person..would u believe it? Would u give it a 2nd thought and think of the probability of truth in the nasty things? Would your attitude towards the named person change?

Does a faceless and nameless character have the right to voice his/her opinion on the named person ?

If the Nasty comments are ignored, would u think the person is Accepting all that is being said as the truth?

I want YOUR view only if your willing to share your name

PS: Name could be blogname or ur actual name or ur email!

I dun believe the person who's saying nasty things. Cos if someone is so desperate to bad-mouth another person, then the real offender is that person himself. Not anyone else.

besides if he/she's anonymous, what kinda guts does that person really have? LOL!

Never. Certainly not. That faceless nameless nasty things only show the dirt in his/her mind.

We can say he/she has no right...but if those are really thinking about the righteousness they themselves will not say nasty things.

No second thoughts... it MUST be ignored.

Even if a named person says something nasty things (constructive criticism is different from nasty things
) it should be ignored.

Cheers :-)

-- my answer is a firm NO. i wont even waste my time and energy for that... :)

you can always ask a named person about it, who knows maybe the nameless person and the named one had an argument once and now the nameless one is just pissed off and angry?
As for comments being ignored, i do ignore stupid comments and nasty remarks about myself these days not because they are true and i accept them but because no matter what i say it wont change anything. Those hwo know me know the truth. Same with 2 of your characters. Hope i made some sense. :)

Hmm .. I assume someone told you something about a fellow blogger. And the person who said it do not want to reveal who they are.

Well, personally, I would not believe anything that is said at face value because you do not know the person who said it so you cannot trust it blindly. I dont think my attitude towards the named person would change.

However, when such things happen, there is always some doubt and confusion in our minds, and I would try to get to the bottom of things if possible just to ease my own concerns.

In the end your instincts will guide you.

no. bcoz. he/she's faceless & nameless. i do not trust random folks. also, i don't like random people telling me negative stuff abt someone else. it reflects rather poorly on the person speaking...

i feel that should be depending upon what has been said and how it has been said.

final call to believe the thing or not lies with you....

@All : Thaks for ur response. Does help in making me feel much better.

@Cosmic: Ur assumption was wrong.

Well, I'd say it depends. It totally depends. What has been said? For whom it has been said? How much you know both the person? Have you already thought any such thing about that person? Blah!

But still the answer will be:
Neber neber neber. :D

LOL..
we are already in a virtual world...does it matter...whoi is speaking??

It s as simple as hear it frm one and drop it frm other....:-)))

[new visitor]

its official bullcrap
at one point of time, i thought that kinda drama was limited to the ordinary bimbos..but it extends into guys too! (no...im not a sexist)
I have too much to say on this since im a major propagandizer of the anti drama movement. :-D

To be honest, i'd rather ask that person (the one who's being bad mouthed), but only in case the stuff said about him/her is really horrible. (which is usually the case :-/ )

cheers!

the very fact that someone feels te need to be anonymous esp when it comes to badmouthing, should be an indicator of teh level of truth in teh accusations......

i would rather go with my gut instinct and take a decision...

No Pavi I wouldnt. Even if it was the other way round.
I'd like to find out things on myself first before I make my opinion.

We would all love to answer a No here. Just because it seems the most obvious logical thing to answer.

But, that is not what actually happens in reality. More oftener than not, we end up doubting (may be even slightly) the said named person, even if we don't know/trust the nameless/faceless person.

Hmm, as for me, i like things clear.. so i'd call the faceless-n-nameless person and the-faceless-but-named person "together"..and clarify.
simple and real!

Hello!
My view is..

if faceless and nameless character told me nasty things about another faceless but named person..i wouldnt believe it- it doesnt really given much weightage nor would i wish to spend much time dwelling on info from someone i do not know much about

Anonymous said...

noi i would not give a second thought...just like the army does not entertain anoonymous letters abnout anyone.... even if it may be the truth...so do i....

Anonymous said...

Well, if the nasty things were amusing enough, I'd probably rib the faceless-but-named person for the rest of his life. :D

Thanks for the visit!

erm...i kinda form my own opinions about people, n don't care wat anyone else thinks or says, even when it comes to my best friends. i'd remember what they said, only because i don't forget things easily. and my attitude wouldn't change one bit...

n do they have the right to voice their opinions, sure, but i'd prefer it if the voicee was present when the voicer was voicing his/her...ummm...voice!

i didn't understand the third stanza :D

o n my name is ganesh

I guess you have you answers...

if you beleive in yourself....these miscreants should not bother you....by being bothered you are actually helping their cause and feeling them with a kind of fuel that will help them be more vigourous....just my thought and diplomatic self....over years i have come to learn in pure and simple way...

"ignore anyone who is out to fuck your happiness"

i never give a 2nd thought for anonymous people. being anonymous itself shows that they r afraid of their own comments. jus kick them out of ur mind
